Doctoral seminar
Simulation with coupled CFD:
A number of very interesting phenomena can be studied via the joining of otherwise simple computational models. To this end, an overview of the Finite Volume CFD method is given with emphasis on how various additional physics models can be coupled to the flow solver. Examples will include variable inflow conditions, dynamic body forces, in-wall heat transfer, and fluid-structure interactions via deformable boundaries.
