Funding

Doctoral candidates of the German Research School for Simulation Sciences will be funded during their doctoral work at a level competitive with other leading doctoral programs. They are expected to contribute a limited amount of time to educational activities.

Salary and social benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service (TVöD) in Germany.

Enrolled doctoral students generally receive certain additional benefits such as reduced prices for public transport, entry to museums, etc.
