Why did you choose the Master's program Simulation Sciences?

In my bachelor time, my major was Vehicle Engineering, but when I did my bachelor thesis, I really needed a lot of simulation skills. Basically, how to build a physical and mathematical model is really important. Besides, you know, the automobile industry in Germany is fantastic. So, I just came here.
Why would you recommend the German Research School to other students worldwide?

Firstly, my German is not good, but here it is a real international environment. You can get along in English for almost everything. Secondly, the people here are very nice. Of course, the education is really great. You will meet a lot of good professors and the education conditions will make you feel always comfortable.
What are your plans for the future, once you have finished your Master's degree?

I hope I can graduate in time, i.e. before April 2012. Then I want find a job here or I go back to China. That is my main target.
Where and in what kind of industry or research would you like to work in the future?

For me, I still want to do something related to vehicles. Since what I learned here mostly is related to the super computer, I also want to work in that kind of industry to build respective (simulation) models.
What do you do in your free time?

I like playing basketball and I am very happy that more and more students here start to play basketball since Dirk Nowitzki won the NBA Champion title. I also like traveling and getting to know different cultures. Oh, and here you will find a lot of chances to watch great concerts.
How is living in Aachen?

Aachen is great, small, quiet and people here are nice. The transportation here is so convenient. It borders to Belgium and the Netherlands, the location is a triangle board. That means you can go there easily. The weather is nice. Not so hot, not so cold. Anyway, I like living here.
