The German Research School for Simulation Sciences is a joint graduate school of RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich with the aim to train the next generation of computational scientists and engineers. Our activities to achieve this aim have borne fruits and will be continued even more comprehensive in a new structure within RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich which will be formed soon.

In the menu to the left you find the former laboratories of the German Research School for Simulation Sciences. They are now integrated into the structures of our partners, Forschungszentrum Jülich and RWTH Aachen University, and the universities of Darmstadt and Siegen.

Please see here for a list of groups in Jülich and Aachen that currently use high-performance computer simulation intensively in their research, or which make great efforts to advance existing computational methods and develop new simulation techniques and tools. All listed institutes and groups are members of the section High Performance Computing (JARA-HPC) of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA), the Center for Computational Engineering Science (CCES), or the Jülich Platform for Simulation Sciences (JPSS).
