Collaboration with Japan

On March 19., a delegation from the Cyberscience Center, Tohoku University (Sendai, Japan), consisting of Prof. Kobayashi, Prof. Egawa and a PhD student, visited the GRS. After a tour to the Forschungszentrum Jülich and presentations by Prof. Kobayashi, Prof. Roller and Prof. Wolf, Prof. Kobayashi and Prof. Roller signed a Collaboration Agreement between the Research Division on Supercomputing Systems and the group Applied Supercomputing in Engineering.

Our wish is that this agreement will help both institutions to promote mutual corporative particulars such as research and development and education in the field of Computational Science and Engineering.
