Guest lecture at the University of Amsterdam

Dr. Jörg Bernsdorf was invited for a guest lecture with the title An Introduction to Vector Computing at the Computer Systems Architecture group in the Informatics institute of the University of Amsterdam. The basic introduction to vector architecture and software development for vector computers was followed by a hands-on session, where the free Lattice Boltzmann CFD flow solver "anb" was vectorised, and after a detailed performance analysis various steps for vector performance improvement where examplified.
